Chestermere Real Estate Market Report: January 2015

Only nine homes sold in the City of Chestermere during January marking the fewest sales in a month since December 2010.  Inventory rose 49% y/y to 127, which translates to 14.11 months of supply.

The average price posted a very slight annual increase of 0.02% from $523,966 to $524,133, the median fell -4.3% from $506,995 to $485,000 and the benchmark price was up 11.6% from $441,300 to $481,300.

  1. Why isn’t CREB publishing last month’s stats anymore? Why do some stats show up as NA?

  2. I believe you’re referring to the active listings stat…you can still view the daily y/y comparison here on my stats page under Calgary & Area Stats Updates.

    That particular feed still uses the old criteria and will likely be scrapped in March (or earlier) when CREB®’s rollover to the new MLS® system is complete. I’ll ask if it’s possible to have daily Y/Y comparisons on inventory in the new system.
