The Calgary Real Estate Board released it’s mid-year update today along with a revised forecast for 2014. Home price and sales growth has exceeded expectations as net migration was well above typical levels for the Calgary CMA which contributed to a rise in demand for residential housing.
I’ve combined CREB®’s forecast from January and the one from today for comparison. Price growth for each housing category was revised upwards, some over double the percentage of the original forecast.
