Airdrie, Cochrane, & Okotoks all posted June sales records as the market continued to thrive in municipalities around Calgary. Chestermere was no exception as home sales there set a new peak for the month too while prices climbed higher.
A total of 44 properties sold in June, a 12.82% y/y increase. Year-to-date sales have risen 54% from the same period last year.
So far this year, Town average prices have increased 6.2% y/y while the median is up 8.9%.
Chestermere inventory was -5.65% lower than last year, unlike Calgary or Airdrie which had the amount of homes listed on the market grow on an annual basis.
