As technology evolves, real estate agents must keep pace in order to provide their clients with the best service possible. Electronic signatures (e-signing) is one such advancement that I’ve adopted in my business.
It’s about offering my clients options.
Granted, I’m with my clients most of the time when signing a listing contract or writing an offer, but there are times when it isn’t possible or convenient for my buyer or seller to be with me in person.
I’ve decided to use DocuSign as my provider. It’s fast & easy, allowing my clients to sign anytime, anywhere, on any device eliminating the hassles of printing, faxing, and scanning. It’s especially convenient for those late night signings when everyone’s already tucked in bed and you don’t want someone coming over. Maybe there’s a deadline and we need to submit the offer asap. Or perhaps you’re thousands of kilometers away relaxing on a beach, nowhere near a fax machine. As long as you have a device with an internet connection, you’re good to go!
I believe it’s an essential option to offer my clients for when the need arises.
