HEAT Project: Save Your Money & the Environment

HeatWould you like to do your part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions? As an added bonus, what if it also meant you’d be improving your home energy efficiency and saving money too?

The HEAT ((Heat Energy Assessment Technologies) pilot project, led by U of C professor Geoffrey Hay, allows you to visualize the amount and location of waste heat leaving your home and is as easy as clicking on your house in Google Maps.

The project is currently limited to 29 communities in NW & SW Calgary but will be expanding.
