Airdrie home sales between April and June spiked to post the best Q2 on record. A total of 401 homes sold, a 14% increase year-over-year and an 8% bump from 2007 which previously had the best second quarter.
Year-to-date sales are up 2% from last year, but trail far behind 2007’s boom.
Specifically looking at June, overall sales were down -3% y/y due to the single family home market which only had 85 sales compared to 108 last June. The condo market performed better with sales nearly double y/y.
