Best Performing Calgary Communities (June 2013)

The Calgary zone that posted the largest year-over-year price growth in June for single family homes was Zone B, which consists of primarily North-East Calgary, rising 8.81%  led by the communities of Falconridge & Castleridge.

Top 5 Communities For Single Family Home Price Growth
(Year-over-Year Change, June  2013)

  1. Meadowlark Park: +13.25%
  2. Falconridge: +13.14%
  3. Castleridge: +13.09%
  4. Mayfair: +12.22%
  5. Rosemont: +11.94%

The number of communities that recorded negative price growth year-over-year increased from 3 in May to 4 in June:

  • Lakeview Village: -4.93%
  • Scarboro: -2.02%
  • Lower Mount Royal: -0.91%
  • Britannia: -0.58%

Top 5 Communities For Condo-Apartments Price Growth
(Year-over-Year Change, June 2013)

  1. Palliser: +19.93%
  2. Braeside: +15.84%
  3. Canyon Meadows: +14.94%
  4. Lake Bonavista: +13.86%
  5. Hayboro: +13.56%

Like in May, there were only 3 communities that saw prices fall in June from year ago levels:

  • Forest Lawn: -2.31%
  • West Hillhurst: -0.88%
  • Greenview: -0.70%
