The number of residential mortgages in arrears in Canada continues to fall according to data released by the CBA this week.
Overall, the amount of mortgages behind by three or more months in March was 0.32%, down from 0.37% a year earlier.
The highest arrears rate in Canada is still in Alberta, but that has been falling steadily. In March 2013 it was at 0.46% which is the lowest level it has been at since January 2009, and significantly lower than the 0.69% from March 2012.
