Airdrie Real Estate Market Statistics: March 2013

The ring road and ‘doppler effect‘ boosting Airdrie’s real estate market?  Not so much in 2013.

Overall Airdrie sales fell -14% year-over-year in March, and were down  -12% in the first QTR of 2013.  The average and median price edged up 0.25% and 3.59% respectively in Q1 compared to the same period in 2012.

Offsetting the drop in sales are fewer new listings.   In the first 3 months of 2012, new listings are down -12.74%, helping push the DOM down by 2 weeks: from 62 to 48 days.
