Calgary Luxury Home Sales in 2013 On Positive Footing

Calgary luxury home sales more than doubled last January’s total but fell just shy of setting a new record for the month.

A total of 34 properties sold for a million dollars or more (32 SFH & 2 condos) compared to 16 last year.   The January record was set in 2007 with 36 high-end sales.

Elbow Park was also the most active community with 4 luxury sales, followed by Lakeview Village and Altadore River Park with 3 sales each.

The two condos that sold were located in Cliff Bungalow ($1,420,000) and Eau Claire ($1,300,000)
