Chestermere Real Estate Statistics (September 2012)

Chestermere home sales in September remained largely on par with the previous year and mirrored the slower pace seen in August.

A total of 15 single family homes and 2 condominiums sold during the month, matching August’s total of 17 and an increase of 1 sale from September 2011.

Year-to-date sales in Chestermere are showing nearly a 12% improvement over last year.

Public Hearing for Land Use Bylaw Amendment (including R-1L Retaining Walls and Fill Placement)

Bylaw 014-12 is a bylaw with major amendments to the Residential Lakeshore District (R-1L), which includes Retaining Wall and Fill Placement Regulations, to Land Use Bylaw 022-10, as amended. A Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers on Monday, October 15th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering verbal and/or (preferably) written representations from interested individuals or groups affected.

Written submissions should be received at the Town of Chestermere Office by 4 p.m. Wednesday October 10, 2012 prior to the Public Hearing. Note: Any submissions received after this time will be considered an oral submission and may be read into the record at the Public Hearing by the writer, or read on his or her behalf.
