The Calgary high-end market in July continued to ease off from the blistering pace set earlier in the year with 37 single family homes selling for at least $1 million. It was the 2nd lowest total so far in 2012.
That’s off nearly -29% from June’s tally of 52 but was still up +32% year-over-year.
The most expensive sale was in Lake Bonavista Estates with a home selling for $3.3 million.
The most active community was Aspen Woods with 4 sales, followed by Mount Royal with 3.
After back-to-back months of 6 condominiums selling for $1M or more, July saw only 2 such units selling. Both of them were located in Eau Claire.
