Chestermere Real Estate Statistics (2011)

Chestermere is described as a “dynamic recreational community with all of the ambiance of a laid-back lakeside community with friendly neighborhoods, housing, schools that are close to home and stores with services minutes away.”

The town is located just east of Calgary and is served by Highway 1A (referred to as 17 Avenue SE in Calgary) as well as the Trans Canada Highway (16th Ave NE)

Chestermere’s population was recorded as 424 residents in 1980. In 2011, the Town had grown to a population of 14,682 residents, an increase of +3363%
