The luxury market was very active in 2011 with 422 single family homes selling at one million dollars or more. This was just short of the 432 that sold in 2007 when the Calgary market peaked and 22% higher year-over-year.
Luxury condo sales have remained fairly static over the last 5 years. While sales in 2011 increased from 2010, they were just below 2006-2009 totals.
