Calgary new home prices remained flat from the previous year, but were up 0.4% between April and May according to Statistics Canada’s New Housing Price Index released today.
Canada-wide, the New Housing Price Index (NHPI) also rose 0.4% in May. Year over year, the NHPI was up 1.9% following an identical increase in April. The main contributors to the advance in May were the metropolitan regions of Toronto and Oshawa as well as Montréal.
